So I just got my Leap Motion hand tracking working with a new Pitool version from Pimax. I'm using the Pimax 8K X and their Hand Tracking Module which is Leap Motion.

Although a little janky, it works pretty well, my issue is however in DCS the hands placement is much higher than my real hands.

In the Leap Motion visualiser it is accurate. In DCS it is high. I think it is because DCS expects the tracker on top of the headset, however the Pimax connects to the bottom, and finding a way of fixing to the top and running a cable around the headset is going to be problematic to say the least.

Question is, is there any way of adjusting this in DCS? Literally centering the hand tracking higher or lower, whichever way works, would easily solve the problem. DCS only catering for a single position is not ideal.

Or would it be possible to implement this?

Many thanks ED for all your hard work!

I also have a 8kx with the hand tracking module and I have the same problem where my hands are too high in dcs. Wondering if you found a solution for this?

Even if you're not using HTCC, https://htcc.fredemmott.com/hardware/ultraleap/README.html#pimaxs-hand-tracking-module - this will *only* affect OpenXR hand tracking, not classic leapc.dll integration, so you may need to delete leapc.dll from your DCS bin and bin-mt folders for it to apply (and re-do that every DCS update)

This should work for you. I'm have the hand tracker on my Crystal and I used it to adjust my hand positioning.

Hand tracking has been messed up for me every since 2.9. I have to push an extra far into the button for it to click. Does anybody know if this has been reported?
