stolzy Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 (edited) I have the years old 'Listening suspended' problem widely discussed here and elsewhere. Do I understand correctly that Vaicom no longer works? I've got my head in a spin following threads on various forums many of which seem to link to each other. Vaicom seemed like such a good idea. Seems odd that, if there is no resolution to this, it's still offered for sale. Edited April 25, 2022 by stolzy
MAXsenna Posted April 25, 2022 Posted April 25, 2022 VAICOM works better for me now on the latest version compared to half a year ago.It seems there are some issues with the Apache still. And there are commands missing for Jester, Jeff, and the Mossie. Might even be more. Hopefully they will be added in the future.Cheers! EDIT: I don't really do MP, and it seems that the "listening suspended" issue came to life when VAICOM was updated last year with some multiplayer settings. Just my personal opinion though. stolzy Posted April 26, 2022 Author Posted April 26, 2022 VA say it's a Vaicom problem (they're probably right), but where to go fom here?

Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk I had an exchange of emails with the guy from Voice Attack and he said it was a Vaicom problem. Since if I disable plugins VA works fine. This seems to be a very widespread problem and I was hoping to find a fix. Looks like I shall be frustrated. Why did I post in the Warthog forum - a good question, maybe a mod could move this somewhere more appropriate.

To clarify, I just answered as if you've posted in the VAICOM forum. And if you read my post in that context, you'll clearly see that is exactly what I write. Yes, it "is" a VAICOM related issue, that mostly came to life with new "multiplayer settings/changes" in VAICOM. Being in this forum, I can totally relate how it was misunderstood, as there are numerous posts about it in the VAICOM forum. Like I wrote. I don't really do MP, so I don't use any of the MP settings of VAICOM, but the "listening suspended issue" roared it's ugly head for me too, back when 2.5.25 was released. But I easily solved it per Hollywood_315's instructions. It's only a VAICOM issue, and doesn't affect anything else. Not even VA if you turn on REL/HOT, or have another PTT button for VA/SRS etc. I do hope it eventually will be solved for those of that have the issue, and the main issue is why some of you get in the first place. I wish I had an answer for you. Cheers!
stolzy Posted April 29, 2022 Author Posted April 29, 2022 Anyone know how to get in touch with Vaicom support?
