Hi

I am new to DCS and I have an issue where I am no longer able to use any of the menus on the right hand side once loaded in to DCS.

so Instant Action, Mission, Campaign, etc. I can't use the exit menu either I have to use Task Manager to log out.

I have tried a repair but on launching after, it is exactly the same.

Has anyone come across this issue ?

Yes, The log shows 3440 x 1440, which is not a very common resolution, check that it is correct.

Hi thank you both for the reply. I have checked the native screen resolution for my monitor and that's correct 3440 x 1440Screenshot 2022-04-26 123750.jpg

Its strange as I have not changed any settings and its been working fine for two weeks.

I assumed that the menus were not visible, but now I wonder what did you meant by "not able to use", you click on them but DCS no longer responds?

So the menus on the right side of the screen are visible, but I am no longer able to click on any of them, when I move my mouse over to them the sound you can hear on the main screen stops and I am unable to click on any of them. I can use the menus on the top left like game settings etc and I can click on my installed modules at the bottom, but nothing on the right hand side works.

Ok, since you already did a dcs repair, I assume that the problem lies within C:\Users\averr\Saved Games\DCS\ 

lets do a small test: rename the \Saved Games\DCS\ to DCS.bak

this will force DCS to recreate the folder with default values. Start DCS, it will request your user credentials .. do the menus work now?

Well that is really odd, I have just applied a windows update to my PC as it was pending and I performed a complete restart of the computer after applying that update. Now I had already performed a shutdown and restart prior to that and it did not solve the problem. However after the update and restart, I am now able to use the menus again hovering over them they turn blue and I am now able to enter them as normal and use the exit to close DCS.
