solved DCS startup issue

Hi

I usually play DCS almost everyday but suddenly i couldnt start the Game up anymore, I get the DCS splash screen and then it just gets stuck there...

What I tried:

Run DCS_updater.exe cleanup & repair "couple times"

Rename the saved Games Folder "DCS.openbeta"

 

I did had some Mods installed which give me additional Planes, maybe an Update broke the Game somehow because of that? Or I also remember that I deleted mpmission files because they were getting way too big on my Windows Drive but I couldnt image that, that could cause this problem???

 

Reinstalling would be the easiest solution I suppose but with my Internet it could take Days perhaps

Ok I have no idea how but it just launched now...

Did you have the MB-339 module?
In case you did, there is a fix for it in the DCS Mods thread.

Not really … a DCS repair is equivalent to a reinstall, so most likely the problem is somewhere else, like within your /saved games/dcs/ folder. If you reinstall DCS it will keep using the same /saved games/ path and probably not solve the issue. Disable your user Mods to check if the problem lies really within the DCS program.
