Tholozor
If the TDC cursor is moved outside the upper or lower areas of the tactical region and reassigned to another page within the cursor-bump time window (in this example, to the SA page), it will command a cursor-bump. ED Team BIGNEWY Posted May 21, 2022 ED Team Share Posted May 21, 2022 I will mention it to the team, but I am not to concerned about it as you have to intentionally force the behaviour. Dragon1-1
I wonder how it is in the real Hornet. This sounds like a logical, if not intended result, and depending on how the bump logic is wired, it could occur in the real thing, too. I don't suppose you could talk any of the SMEs into trying this out next time they get to sit in one?
Tholozor
My understanding of the cursor-bump logic is that the cursor must be moved out of then back into the tactical region within the cursor-bump time window. To my mind, removing the cursor from the page entirely should interrupt that logic cycle instead of causing it to execute. MARLAN_
I would add though, if we ever get a faster TDC speed like we should have, it'll become less likely to invoke this bug unintentionally. (Not that it wouldn't be good to be fixed anyway s of course) Edited May 21, 2022 by MARLAN_ Virtual CVW-8 - The mission of Virtual Carrier Air Wing EIGHT is to provide its members with an organization committed to presenting an authentic representation of U.S. Navy Carrier Air Wing operations in training and combat environments based on the real world experience of its real fighter pilots, air intercept controllers, airbosses, and many others.
