bonesvf103 Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 I've noticed as of late that my FWD & R fuel runs out quickly and the aft & L one does not. ANy reason why it's not feeding equally? The cover is down on the fuel feed switch. v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. Lt_Jaeger Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Known bug, announced internally fixed by heatblur. For the time being, just cycle the feed switch after spawn, set it back to normal and everything works as supposed.
ShinyMikey Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 I didn't see any F-14 notes in the hotfix patch notes yesterday. I wondered why that wasn't fixed. However, it is not a big deal and it's really easy to get around.
bonesvf103 Posted May 26, 2022 Author Posted May 26, 2022 OK, must have missed that, but thanks, glad I'm not going crazy. It was weird...at one point the right feed burned out then BOTH my engines shut down. Next, I blacked out. By the time I came to, I was too close to the ground to recover and crashed. Why it would make me black out I don't know since I never touched the O2 switch or was experiencing G (I was in straight and level flight). Odd. v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day. I would have 80 pounds of flesh to eat and a pair of glasses to start a fire." --F/A-18 Hornet pilot
IceWalloh Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 @Lt_Jaeger How do you get around it? Is it just as easy as cycling the feed switch a few times? What do you do to get around it?
near_blind Posted May 30, 2022 Posted May 30, 2022 Raise the cover on the fuel feed switch. Flip it to FWD, Flip it to AFT, flip it to the normal, center position. Close the cover, et voila 1
