AI Slipping on SC surface, causes all other aircraft to not taxi globally

I'm not sure where else to put this, and I'm genuinely confused what is going on with this mission; it was doing fine, and for some odd reason.. the hornets on the SC slide towards the front of the ship, and it prevents all other aircraft from taxiing. (and I don't mean just aircraft on the carrier, I mean... period)

Shift the timer on the start for the Vipers and Eagles, and you'll see them stop in their tracks (freeze, not slow down), while taxiing.

Your issue happens at the moment your second trigger is started. What happens is this second trigger tells Hornets to start their engines... when the first trigger did the same thing, seconds before. This leads to this strange "dance"...

The removal of the second trigger will fix your mission.

Anyway, I think AI units shouldn't act like this when they are told to start their engines for the second time.

Issue reported. 👍

Devs answered me:

  • AI TASK PUSH adds a high priority action for an AI to execute immediately, which means it won't replace previously assigned actions.
  • AI TASK SET is used to replace other already assigned AI actions by a new one.

To put it shortly: never use AI TASK SET unless you want the AI unit to change its plan.
