Mikelug Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 I cannot understand what is going on! When I'm opening Logbook, it said my pilot is dead and I have to create the new one! And of course I have to start all campaigns from start. WTF is this?!
Tom Kazansky Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 There is a box in the logbook where you can chose whether the pilot can be killed or not. This is for those who really want to be afraid of dying. In both cases your pilot can be killed in a mission but that box decides whether the log will go on. Never tested it myself though.

I never saw this before. For example, statistics said this pilot dies 13 times.

Tom Kazansky Posted June 6, 2022 Posted June 6, 2022 Ok. That "no" killed the pilot's log on the last death as you might imagine. Maybe some more experienced guys than me can help you fix your log file and revive your pilot. The log file is editable but I'm not an expert.

But it was very strange for me.
MAXsenna Posted June 7, 2022 Posted June 7, 2022 Not on my computer. But IIRC it's as easy as opening the "logbook.lua" and revive the pilot from "dead=1" to "0" or just deleting the line or something. Did it a lot until I made it invulnerable. Cheers!
Stealth509 Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 In 2.9 what I did to fix this was use the same method to open the logbook.lua file as stated above In notepad use ctrl F to bring up the FInd/Search box type dead press enter it reads dead = true change to false and save it Just for good measure enable Invulnerable(change from fasle to true inulln the lua file
