Here's what I'm referring to:

I made this video specifically with a phone so that it is clear that no recording software is causing this issue.

I tried everything from disabling service.msc (power), hot plug off, vsync on, etc, etc. Nothing works.

What I observed today though is, that the AH64 makes this issue worse, the module itself is more demanding I assume and 2. I get no stutters if my GPU % is at around 96% to 100%.

When I get those stutters (most of the time), my GPU% is at 75%, then the micro stutters appear and it shortly goes up to 99/100%, then back to around 75%

Specs:

Intel i5 12600k

64GB RAM

ASUS 2070 Super

Win11

latest drivers

VKB Stick, Thrustmaster Throttle, MFG Crosswinds, Tobii Eye Tracker

Do you have a second screen? If so, open task manager or prozess lasso  or something like that and see what your system (your cpu) does while running dcs.

Also - I gave you a couple of things to try in the other thread, you posted your problem in. See if something works. Sadly - It's try and error, since the possible culprits are so many.

Oh by the way - I just watched your video. Those are not Micro stutters. Those are foll grown hickups/stand stills. Having seen this, you can probably forget about anything v-sync or trackir related. Those look like windows/cpu problems. There is some heavy load on the system next to DCS.

Please ensure:

  1. Windows HAGS is disabled (howto),
  2. Windows power mode is set to Best Performance (howto).

Whilst it certainly doesn't hurt to try, I doubt that Power Mode (on its own) is the culprit. I stopped using best performance a while ago and use "balanced" without issues. (With the Exception of USB - those aren't allowed to save energy...for reasons ...stu#!d fu#!ers....😆)

@iRocco Do you have any Logitech or RGB-Software running?

Edit: Try to disable Tobii (kill all  related processes) for a test. Just to eliminate the possibility. It is just my personal opinion, but I find the tobii software is sub par (nicely put).

Thank you for your help, really appreciate it. I'm currently testing everything you've said and yes, I have Logitech Gaming Software running Aura RGB lighting.  Disabling them now to test and also going to do a full nvidia driver cleanup now.
I hope it is not Tobii, I find it so much better than TrackIR once setup properly, no hat, no IR thingy and so on.

Do you mind sharing your settings (PM me) for Tobii. Mine is currently not installed because It didn't work at all for me. But I will give it another chance perhaps.

On Topic: This Stuff is annoying af. Because I'm yet to see any one fits all solution. It's mostly trial and error until something helps. Your specific problem seem to be different from the regular "micro stutter" problematic. Given the look of the hick ups I strongly suspect another program interrupting and stealing cpu-cycles. RGB-Software is a common culprit for <profanity> like this and Logitec is a prime example of disruptive software.

As much as I like my G703, I hate its default RGB-cycling. But to turn that off, I needed the Software installed. I opted to ditch it anyway.....

Make sure, you test flappies suggestions as well. Windows 11 can be weird, but I have no personal experience with HAGS.
