Hippo Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 In the draw tool, line and segments selected, when I draw one or more line segments I am unable to delete them. I have tried pressing the delete key from within the draw tool. I have also tried to select the line from the ME intending to then press delete, but I am unable to select the line. Also, when drawing line segments if I want to end the operation the only way to do so appears to be to press ESC, which also exits the draw tool. Is there no way to stop drawing the current line but remain in the draw tool? razo+r Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Once you have drawn something, you have to press "select" (which should be on the left. I have a different language so I dont know if it is labeled that way). Then you should be able to either select it from the list or by clicking on it on the map. 2

Darkenmass Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Sorry guys but i am unable to delete whatever i draw, note that select is chosen, neither del or back button seems to work, it simply won't delete itself, how something so simple as deleting a text box must be so complicated in the spaghetti code of Eagle Dynamics ?
rob10 Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Try selecting the "Author" layer in the upper box. Can't remember for sure, but I think you have to have the layer the drawing is in selected.

Honestly the only reason I remembered that tip was that I struggled with the exact same thing for a while before I figured it out. Having said that, it's always a balance between complexity of use and making things powerful to use (i.e. ability to only show certain drawing on F10 map but allow you to use others in mission editor for planning/creation purposes) .
