Hello,

During one of many sight-seeing flights over the South Atlantic map, I found some geological formation, that looked very nice form above, some kind of "table mountain". It's located in Argentina, about 15 km east of Rio La Leona river flowing between lakes of Lago Viedma and Lago Argentino. Unfortunately, I couldn't find name of this rock. I have uploaded an image from google maps.

The coords are: 50°00'55.1"S  71°50'51.9"W

Now I am building a helicopter base there 🙂

Anyone knows the name of that formation?

Interesting question.

Google Earth shows me a radio station named sitio mesete cotecal. Maybe is Cotecal the name of the formation?

@JetJake76What altitude were you at with that? Looks like Google Earth! The formation is an ancient meteor crater, there are quite a few still here on our active Earth.

Well, it's a Google Map image.

And in DCS World it looks like this:

99% chances they call "La Meseta" a that rock formation...

Thanks! That's exactly the name! I did some research, but I found it strange, it's like "the mesa" or "the plateau" in English. I have created a mission with a base and good defensive position on the top, but what I did not know, it's an area of a national park 🙂

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

Uhm, I think you guys might have talked about different places...

Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
