Hello,

Last year I edited a series of training missions set in Caucasus, for the FMA Pucara aircraft mod created by @pastranario3, as the Mod didn't had this type of mission. The Mod is still on its early stages of development and is still missing features, but it does have a lot already done, like Tacan and ILS equipment, only an UHF radio is missing. You can get more details about the Mod on this thread:

With the release of Razbam's South Atlantic Map, my interest on this Mod renewed, and so I ported all my previous training missions to the new Map and released all 10 missions on this link:

https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3322944/

They are 10 missions in total, 5 for each Map:

To use these missions, you need obviously the Pucara Mod, get it here:

https://github.com/PucaraPastrana/PucaraDCS/releases

This Mod also has a Discord channel, where you can get support:  https://discord.gg/CFVSqkzY

I'm also aware that there are DCS users that are put off by the synthetic audio on the voiceovers, but while I can read and write english fairly well, my spoken english is pretty awful 😝 .. you are much better off with the synthetic voiceovers, trust me 🤗

Here is a series of video walkthroughs for each mission, that may help if you get stuck when flying one of them:

If you find any bug while flying these missions, please report it on this thread and I will do my best to fix it. 👍

To go along with my missions, I also added an entry to the Encyclopedia, as the Pucara doesn't have one yet:

Best regards,

Eduardo

Hello,

Today, I added a sixth training mission for the S.Atlantic Map. It's mission M06 "Rockts employment", here is a walkthrough:

Mission added to the mission package, at User Files:  https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3322944/

Next I intend to edit two more training missions, one for dive bombing and another for low level bombing using Snakeyes. That would be the last one on this series, unless @pastranario3 adds more weapons in the future, like for example a cluster bomb 🙂

Best regards.

Eduardo.

Hello,

Just finished the Dive Bombing mission, it works like this:

I updated the file to include it: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3322944/

Now I will go on to edit a low level bombing mission, using Snakeyes bombs. This will be the end of this series, unless the Mod's author enhances it with more weapons 🙂

Best regards,

Eduardo

PS: Debugging this missions did wonders for my bombing precision .. I flew it so much that soon I was placing all of my bombs within the target circle:

Hello,

Today I finished my last mission on this series: M08 Low-level bombing, for training with Snakeye bombs:

The file should finish upload within the next 10 minutes.

For playing with DCS, I like to focus on a single aircraft for several weeks (or months) at a time, until I feel that I've mastered it. With the Pucara I'm almost at that point and I'm looking forwards to moving onto the Mirage F1 as my next ride.  However, since the F1 release is still a couple of weeks away, I intend now to edit a combat mission for the Pucara, set at Falkland Islands during the Battle for Goose Green, where a Pucara downed a UK helicopter evacuating wounded troops.
