TEMPEST.114 Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Using VR with gameplay option set so ihadss displays in both eyes (otherwise it’s too flickers and gives me a headache). This bug only happens in a cold start in VR. When you do the alignment it’s impossible to set it correctly because of eye parallax and if you close either eye and use just one eye to align its still off. There needs to be a way to align it correctly in VR when it’s rendering in both eyes. Either force one eye when aligning, or have an ‘auto’ align helper.
Razor18 Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Well I guess this just mirrors potential real life problem, if the pilot would have IHADSS in front of both eyes. That's why they don't have on both eyes, I think. So I think you should rather try to get to use one eye only, or not expecting to be able to align for both eyes. No pun intended.

I'm not putting up with flickering IHADSS in one eye that gives me a splitting headache after 30 mins. They included the 'both eyes' option to get rid of this problem, so they need to implement a way to make it possible to still correctly align it. Thanks for your empathy.
Razor18 Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 (edited) So your problem is rather flickering IHADSS in one eye then? Could it be rather hardware related? Btw stating facts is not equal to lack of empathy just because you don't like them. Edited July 13, 2022 by Razor18
Dangerzone Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 I agree... If there's an option to show IHADDS in both eyes, then it would need to support alignment (and functionalities) that a single eye would do as well. Going OT: As for the flickering itself - just curious as to your headset you're using and the refresh rate. I only use it in one eye - and I have no problems with flickering at all. (HP Reverb, 90hz), so while I agree that if this is a bug it needs to be addressed and not ignored - if there is a workaround available to stop the flickering - I think it'd be worth pursuing as well.
