In my pinion the modelling not different in the BS but I haven't got the BS. Without them I can't test the models and so on.... P.S. My next plan is create UB-32, B-8M, B-20, GUV pods for helis.

but i have another question : would you mind making these stinger single/double launcher tubes for apache and blackhawk ?

 

Well, In my opinion it is possible, but you don't able to integrated into the game, because as I know the whole weapon structures are hardcoded in the game. If you have a good drawing (or source) for these weapons, please send it to me. After I finish the work with the UB rocket pods I'll try to modelling these stingers.

i test all your mod on blackshark an works like a charm

 

only 1 problem when all rockets are fired i still see rockets still inside rocket pods isnt they suppose to be empty afther all rockets are fired?

 

well if need me also test your mods on blackshark i'll be happy too:)

Yup, think so also.

IMHO - it's better to "hide" rockets in "dark" like ED does. In this case nobody knows is there any rocket or not. And it will be ok in both cases.

Well, In my opinion it is possible, but you don't able to integrated into the game...

 

It's not a problem Beczl, i can put many new weapons into the game as you wish - almost

 

coz as Chizh said: DCS/ME has technological limitation - so maybe we can try where is that limit :smilewink:

 

BTW: im looking for that weapons pack - Sir_Troooper made it , so who have that file? maybe he should upload it to lonckonfiles

Hi,

 

Well, the rocket launching is hardcoded and the original rocket pod model is simplified and doesn't contain rockets and launcher tubes.

Only the rocket pod textures contain the rockets (and tubes too). Try it to "original" UB-32, B-8M1 and you can what I see. According this method I modeled the pods with rockets and the pods won't empty afther all rockets are fired.

Well, in DCS/BS this problem is solved. You can choose : weapon / container / laucher tube in lua for your new weapon.

 

Of course container and tube objects contain the real rocket/warhead/mine which will disappear after the launch and containers/pods can be jettisoned separately with its content

Hi,

 

Anybody had an issue of my mods shadow or texture? I received a PM about this.

 

the shadows are not right on the two smaller pods B-8M1_V2 UB-32A-73 and the bomb skin is not loading for some reason.

 

I tested two different machines, but everithing looks like good.

Had problems with the ODAB-500 v101 witht he texture and ordenance would not explode

Remember the 346 Fire Fighters, Medics & Police who died on 9-11.......

 

Selective memory is a wonderful thing, especially when certain posts simply disappear into the ether never to be seen again, unless I have a copy of the original post copied and pasted into word documents and saved .... just in case :)

Wouldn't explode? Strange. I have no Idea what's cause this.

And the texture issue: Please try the attached texture above. Simply copy and overwrite the old one into the Bazar/Temptextures folder.
