Mission 9 Betsy dies

I can imagine how fustrating is to deal with AI. Just upfront: I love the campaign.

I have just checked the track of M09. Betsy attacks the SA3 with MAV (did not notice), later when I cleared her to attack the TEL's she used the guns, pulled up but was too low and hit the ground. She never appeared ever again in the mission.

And yes. Her tail number was 210 but on the kneeboard she should have been flying with 407 afiak.

Hey! Thanks, I will check it once I get back home (currently in Tbilisi / Georgia). This should be a one off glitch with her dying. One question: did you ask her to take out SA2 and SA3? If you did, then she was only left with the gun. She may attack the SA3 with mav, as she can still shoot from outside the SAM envelope. But it is your responsibility as flight leader to make decisions who attacks what knowing the loadout (unfortunately there is no way to ask her what she has left, which you would simply do in real life). 

Even when set to invincible, the AI will be out of action if they hit the ground, and AI is known to be doing just that.

I did attack the SA2. Checked the tacview, Betsy never used the HARM. Most probably she decided to take out the SA3 with MAV and of course later she could not attack the TELs with the HARM.

I do not know what would happen if she would take out the SA2 first and I do the SA3.

Apologies for late reply, I was and still am away from my gaming rig for another month, but decided to clear up the backlog of things on the forums here
She normally should use HARM against SA3 first, but AI being AI she can do stupid things....
