condor11 Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 I got a MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick from a friend. Plugged it in, I am running Windows 10, and joystick was fully recognized, calibrated and it tests normally. In Windows when I push on it I feel resistance, as I should. However as soon as I launch DCS the joystick no longer has any "resistance", as if there is no "spring" effect. I went and configured its FF settings, flipped the axis, as others indicated on the forum. Still nothing. All planes and helicopters can be controlled but the handle doesn't have even the slightest force to return to center. Am I missing something?
Bailey Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 There isn’t a return to center. You can get it to do that if you block/cover the sensors though.
