Divadov Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Why, when select the A/G mode the Velocity Vector moves to the left of the HUD?
razo+r Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 No. In this case, you got more infos? Like, much more infos? A video or even a short track?
Divadov Posted July 22, 2022 Author Posted July 22, 2022 In the Hornet everytime that you select the mode A/G, the VV goes to the left. To center It again they must to push uncage key. The question its if somebody knows why this happens, what its the reason for the VV changes in A/G mode.

When you say everytime, are you just trying it over and over in the same mission. Or are you flying in different directions and conditions etc. A track would be extremely helpful. Divadov Posted July 24, 2022 Author Posted July 24, 2022 Attached pictures; in mode A/A the VV is centered on the HUD, in mode A/G the VV is on the right of the HUD.
razo+r Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 First pic: HUD caged, and the ghost VV shows where your aircraft is heading, to the right. Second pic: HUD uncaged, FPM marker shifted to the ghost VV of the caged HUD. Same situation, different visualisation. Now do a 180 and it should show your aircraft drifting left.
Swift. Posted July 24, 2022 Posted July 24, 2022 They say a picture speaks a thousand words, but a track speaks a thousand pictures. Run a short test mission, demonstrate the issue. When you exit the mission, the centre bottom button in the after action screen will read 'Save Track' Click that button and save it with a memorable name, eg 'HUD Wind Bug.trk'. Navigate to your savedgames folder, under DCS or DCS.openbeta>Tracks (the default save location unless you changed it), then upload the track you find in there to the forums so we can see exactly what is happening. 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest 2
Ephedrin Posted July 25, 2022 Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) If it‘s always to the right and the wind‘s calm check your turn and slip indicator. If you have assymetrical load (TGP and Amraam) this will lead to a slip and you need to apply rudder trim. Not sure of the amount, it certainly looks quite a lot here. In any case also check your rudder trim, maybe an accidental trim application. Edited July 25, 2022 by Ephedrin
