There is just only one store to sell the TrackIR in korea. but Trackclip pro is sold out and then I can't buy TrackIR only. It's too expensive to buy it from another country.

Is it still too expensive even if you buy it from a place like Amazon.com?

Can't you order it from Amazon even if you're in Korea?

Looks like a TrackIR without that TrackIR price.

You can get it done for much cheaper tho if you do it yourself:

Webcam 10$

3 IR Leds : 1$

Some wires, old diskette, etc... and ur done :)

the only Difference between TrackIR 4 and freetrack is that TrackIR 4 is 120 FPS sample rate and most people i talk to with freetrack said that the webcam they have only uses like 30. and its not as smooth but its not bad. I love my trackIR 4 PRO but i would recommend freetrack to anyone who didnt want to spend the money . But if you dont mind spending it i would buy trackIR..

Freetrack works nice for me. I'm sure webcams are cheaper in Korea.

Wow. I found that freetrack 2.2 support for Wii remote controller(100fps and no cpu util) better than webcam(30fps, cpu util). I will try to make a wiimote freetrack

Thanks

thats cool sarancha did you check out that guy who made a power glove from a wii controller and he can just look at a panel and put his hand up to the screen and flip the switch.

Yes, I saw that article. It's a real great thing. I will buy two wii controllers. one make for freetrack and the other make for a touch panel. but I don't make a glove type but make IR spring pen like following

From what I see, it only works in MS FS and it cost 70Euros which today is $97 smakaroos. I find it strange but even in the PDF manual for this Hat Track it claims it will only work with MSFS. I emailed them and asked why? When I get an answer I'll post it.

The price would not be too bad for store bought 6 deg system if it works with everything like Track IR does.

When I was researching buying my TrackIR4 I saw that on a couple of European sites, but apparently not very common.

Having seen the simplicity of TrackIR/Freetrack though I don't see this product necessarily being worse. Suppose it'll just need a lot of research before you decide if it's worth getting? Looks a bit like it's only worth it if it's considerably less expensive than TrackIR.

I have experiance with other VRi equipment and I must say they work very well. This Hat Track works more or less as Freetrack or Trackir.

Even though it just say compatible with FS9/FSX, I have seen some video of it running some racing game too. So it should work with any game that has the feature.

Best is to ask on their forum. http://vrinsight.com/phpBB3_en/index.php

I would put it between the Trackir (120fps) and Freetrack (30fps) both in performance (HT has 60fps) as well as in price.

One other feature it has is speech recognition.
