twistking Posted August 5, 2022 Posted August 5, 2022 (edited) The newly added SON-9 seems to continue emitting 360° while it is tracking a target. When the radar goes into tracking mode it will still be visible on the RWR of aircraft that are on the opposite direction. This seems unrealistic. I would also assume that the RWR of tracked targets should pick up the difference in signal and give some sort of warning or notification... Flappie Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 Hi @twistking. It seems that the SON-9 radar is no more visible on RWRs in DCS 2.8. Once this issue is fixed, I'll get back here and see if the issue you described subsists. ---

Unfortuantely i don't know for sure. It showing up 360° for everyone was definitely a bug/oversight though. Flappie Posted December 26, 2022 Posted December 26, 2022 I tested in 2.7: it's clearly identified as "FC" in the F-15C RWR, so I guess current 2.8 state is not intended. 1 ---
