Aigle2 Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 (edited) Hi, Don't know why it's happening. Here are the files. Any idea would be great, seems to happen randomly. PC Specs : Ryzen 7 3700X SSD (Windows 10 + DCS) 64 Go RAM CL16 3000 Mhz RTX 3080 AMD motherboard I'm using ReShade, Opentrack with AItrack (my trackIR just died, so facetrack is temporary solution). Also mods which were not used in this mission. Aigle2 Posted August 24, 2022 Author Posted August 24, 2022 New crash, different this time. Flappie Posted August 24, 2022 Posted August 24, 2022 Hi, your first crash log looks like a RAM issue to me. You should run MemTest86 for at least half an hour, and check for errors. https://www.memtest86.com/download.htm ---

Flappie Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Ok, your RAM is fine then. In your dxdiag log, I see quite a lot of BSODs caused by "opentrack-tracker-wii.dll". Are they from a distant past, or is it something that keeps happening? It just occurred to me that your Windows 10 is not up-to-date. Please update (to version 21H2) and see if your crashes keep happening. ---

I didn't even know it was/is causing issues. How to know if a BSOD is caused by it ? usually BSOD error messages are a bit generic...
Aigle2 Posted August 26, 2022 Author Posted August 26, 2022 (edited) Windows updated Drivers up to date Opentrack up to date Still random crashes during fast missions like 1 vs 1 dogfight, maybe 1 game out of 5. Sometimes crash with DCS crash reporter Sometimes return to desktop Sometimes giant freeze and I have to kill it with task manager dcs.20220826-061527.crash dcs.20220826-061527.dmp dcs.log Edited August 26, 2022 by Aigle2
Flappie Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Ok. Try these, one by one: Disable Shader caching in the NVIDIA control panel. Uninstall your GPU driver using DDU, reboot, then reinstall your GPU driver. Disable XMP profile in BIOS. ---

Flappie Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Great. If it stays stable, try re-enabling XMP (it boosts RAM speed). ---
