razo+r Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 Currently, if you have an overheating cooling system, it is impossible to reset it to normal temps by requesting a repair. The only way to lower the temp is to wait or take a new aircraft. Would be great if a repair would also reset the temperature of the cooling system. Track with the D9 as an example. tempandrepair.trk 1
grafspee Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 I think that was a case before new cooling system introduction. It is very first release so this new cooling is in beta stage, probably when cooling will be complete this feature will be here. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor

It was (and still is) the case before the update and is still the case for the planes that got it after this update. Only time can tell if they will implement it or not.
Doughguy Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 (edited) Thing is, to what temps should it be reset. Coldstart? "Regular" temps? If you just land for a rearm and have to do a cold start again i just wouldnt bother and grab a new plane instead... it also has fresh guns that degraded from few long bursts which atm also cant be repaired. razo+r Posted August 25, 2022 Author Posted August 25, 2022 I'd suggest at least minimum temps required. I guess this would also be a great opportunity to implement a pre-warmed feature into the game, especially for the radials. 2
amazingme Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 The repair should cool down the overheated coolant.. seems logical..
