Is the AIM-54C still getting the ability to go active on its own?

Some time ago there were some discussion threads about the 54C going active on its own that concluded with Heatblur stating they had a source that confirmed this functionality. Is this still a thing? I have not seen anything in the patch notes and its been quite a while.
