Crash after few seconds

Hi there since a week DCS always crash few seconds after started any mission with any vehicle.

I have no mods, just use openxr installed following the instruction found here on the forum.

I have a full upgraded win10,  3070rtx with latest drivers, and G2 

Please help me .....

If you are running through Open XR then yes you are running a modded DCS file.

I would first do a full repair of DCS and test it before installing the Open XR stuff and see if it behaves the same. IF that fixes the issue then you got something wrong likely with your Open XR installation for DCS.

Full repair and clean but I think that full repair did also the clean...

Does the problem happen in other games or only DCS? 

if other games too, 
Did you make any changes to the PC just before the problem occurred... like adding another application, or maybe moving the PC to a different location, adding or changing a part like ram or a daughter board? 

If no software changes, I would power off PC, remove and reseat RAM, remove and replug GPU, unplug and replug the leads to your GPU. Power on and try again.

Failing that, and failing doing as suggested by @dburne 

ie :first do a full repair of DCS and test it before installing the Open XR stuff and then test it again

then it may be a GPU driver problem ( your getting D3DDRED2 errors in dxdiag) so using DDU to remove the existing GPU drivers, then getting the latest drivers off NVIDIA site might be the go. DDU is here https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Hi, no overclock and no change on hw. I tried several other time and with openxr always get stuck but with steam sometimes I am able to play with no problem and sometimes crash.

The gpu driver are the latest. I will try ddu....

Some find ddu hard to use. Maybe try this instead...

Hi, I always do a clean installation with the Nvidia tool

How is going w11 on vr ? I have the chance to upgrade but I never do it because I am not sure about the performance

Are you saying that other games, that do not use open xr, crash sometimes too?

So very unlikely its Nvidia GPU drivers or a hardware seating (meaning a not properly connected or plugged in problem such as ram needing to be re-seated)

So suggest: 

1/ uninstall openxr. Restart the PC.

2/ do a full repair of DCS and test it without open xr.  If its ok then

3/ install a fresh copy of Open XR stuff and then test it again

I dont understand what your reply "no chance" means. 
 

1/ did you uninstall open xr ?... yes or no
2/ did you then run repair of dcs ? yes or no 

3/ when you run dcs now does it crash? 

Or are you saying you do you not want to uninstall open xr etc?

Yes of course, I followed all your suggestion with no luck ...

Uninstalled open xr, repaired after a restart....

OK so what we know is:

1. DCS crashes. You have no mods installed. You use OpenXR
2. Other games work OK and dont crash
3. You uninstalled Open XR, then repaired DCS, then ran DCS. DCS still crashes

So,

• When you repaired DCS did you follow all these : https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/repair/  instructions ?
• What exactly happens when DCS crashes? Do you get any error message?
• Can you inspect and repair important Windows files on your computer using scannow?

To use scannow, follow the DCS instruction https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/startup/ which is repeated here:

How to use sfc /scannow - it will inspect and repair all of the important Windows files on your computer, including Windows DLL files.
a) open Command Prompt as an administrator
b) type the following command: sfc /scannow   and then press Enter
c) system File Checker will now verify the integrity of every protected operating system file on your computer

1 yes and also cleaned with skatezilla

2 just freeze the frame for a while, audio continue to go then after some seconds black screen and crash and I get the dcs crash error that asking me to use dxdiag to retrive some extra info. then I have all the log

We damn that is no good at all. I don't think I can help you any further. So sorry.
Your crash report says that you have a problem with d3d11.dll an ACCESS_VIOLATION
I would have expected scannow would have fixed that but it did not.

I suggest you log a fault with DCS user support. DCS support can be very helpful.

Hey you did much more than I have expected, don't be sorry.

I made a image of my hdd as backup and now I am doing the w11 upgrade, so I will try idf it's working and how is working

Looks that the w11 upgrade solved the problems... Tomorrow I will do more tests.
