Winwing on Covid lockdown

For those that didn't know Winwing is on Covid lockdown as they are based in Chengdu China. As of 9-1-22 this is on their site. I currently had an order for a Super Taurus F/A-18 throttle set , F/A-18 Joystick, extension and Libra desk mount and Orion 2 joystick base on August 30th that shipped but due to this lockdown my stuff is being held up with no delivery date for the foreseeable future at Fedex in Chengdu. Just beaware of this if you wish to order or reach out to Winwing. At least my F-16 throttle and joystick with a libra base arrived last month so I can still play. This will probably affect the release of their Orion 2 MFSSB and F/A-18 MFD bundles too. I know they date it till August 4th but other cities in China that had similar lockdowns with set dates exceeded them by months.

 

Covid-19 Outbreak, To Our Customers/Aviators

Dear Customers/Aviators:

    As affected by the Covid-19 Outbreak, Chengdu Municipal People’s Government declared a strategy of “static management”, residents are barred from leaving their homes. Therefore, WINWING’s production and logistics services have to suspend, but our consultation service proceeds normally, for details:

1.From Sep 1st , 2022 to Sep 4th, Beijing time (USA/Germany time: Aug 31st, 2022~Sep 4th, 2022) WINWING’s online customer service will work as usual and will sincerely serve our customers and aviators, please feel free to contact us.

2.From Sep 1st , 2022 to Sep 4th, Beijing time (USA/Germany time: Aug 31st, 2022~Sep 4th, 2022) Unfortunately, the government’s“static management” impacts WINWING production and logistics services. Those who have purchase our products, we will try our best to arrange delivery by Sep 1st, 2022 (USA/Germany time: Aug 31st , 2022). If there are any stranded goods, we will immediately arrange delivery for you as soon as this “restriction” is over.

3.From Sep 1st , 2022 to Sep 4th, Beijing time (USA/Germany time: Aug 31st, 2022~Sep 4th, 2022) Because the logistics service suspended, therefore we cannot send out any replacement accessories or complete sets, so sorry about that. However we will immediately arrange the delivery as soon as this “restriction” is over.

4.From Sep 1st , 2022 to Sep 4th, Beijing time (USA/Germany time: Aug 31st, 2022~Sep 4th, 2022) WINWING official website and our online store will function normally, not impacting any normal purchases. But due to the suspended logistics service, we cannot send them out in time, then the package will inevitably be delayed. Anyway we will immediately arrange the delivery once the “restriction” is over. Buyers please think carefully before paying the order.

    The “Static Management” policy is issued by Chengdu Municipal People’s Government and all companies and firms in this city must unconditionally abbey this rule. (Except a few special industries). Hereon, WINGWING sincerely apologize for any inconveniences and thank all our customers and aviators for your understanding.

Well they are trying there best to keep things up. They were able to get my shipment to resume and it made it to the US. The notice has been removed but I haven't seen any new that they or the rest or the city has been allowed to go back to normal.

Probably cause the lockdown was extended to September 8th now but the site is up and they put out a video on how to install the MFSSB.
