Default774 Posted September 10, 2022 Posted September 10, 2022 (edited) The AIM-120 lofts 5-10 degrees when fired in mad dog/without lock. This might be intentional, but this doesn't seem right to me. maddog_loft.trk Edited September 10, 2022 by Minimalist 1
Default774 Posted January 17, 2023 Author Posted January 17, 2023 This is a minor issue, but the missile changing course upwards can possibly make maddog shots miss under some circumstances. Additional tracks in case needed. mdl2.trk mdl.trk

Additional tracks in case needed. That's not quite missile issue. When missile fired in VISUAL mode it receives desired flight direction. By default this direction matches aircraft boresigth. That works ok for f-18 and f-15, but f-16 aiming circle positioned 6 degrees below boresight, so that looks like missile lofts a bit. Need to fix f-16 missile pointing. YouTube Channel
