ivanwong1989 Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 When turning the altimeter knob to set QFE, it can't go below 930. So when my calculated QFE requires lets say a subtraction beyond 930, can't do that.
razo+r Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 930 seems to be the minimum for the main altimeter. 1
Iron Sights Posted September 16, 2022 Posted September 16, 2022 Yeah, in places Ike the Nevada map you can’t set it low enough, but this also appears similar to other aircraft as well. 1
ivanwong1989 Posted September 17, 2022 Author Posted September 17, 2022 Maybe I'm thinking it wrong. Since the F1 has no "computer linked hud + QFE" setting. It's all manual. I think i need to set QNH then manually offset the elevation in my head 1

IvanK Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 930mb is a pretty normal minimum pressure setting on western Altimeters. 2
