ZoltarSpeaks Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Hey Guys! I am coming from a recent re-installation of windows, I have tried reinstalling many times, adding exceptions through the firewall and antivirus, completely turning those off as well, rebooting after every step. Running the DIMS command in cmd for file repair, obtaining fresh installations from the ED website, and still to no avail. I'm not sure why it will not install, I have had it running fine on this PC before the windows re-installation. I've included a screenshot of the issue, and my log as well, If anyone knows why this happening, please help if you can. Thanks in advance! -Dylan (Speaks) autoupdate_log.txt
Flappie Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Hi. Please empty your "F:\DCS\DCS World OpenBeta\_downloads" folder, then launch DCS updater. Is it any better? ---
Slippa Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Sounds very similar to where I was a few days back. Eventually I tried using a VPN and got it installed, after weeks of reinstalling Windows then trying DCS. Good luck getting it sorted.
thrustvector Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 came on to ask the same, im getting this after all firewall etc are off, done as you said Flappie, but still the same, seems to run for around 300 to 600 mb download then throw up the error?
Flappie Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Ok. Please attach your autoupdate_log.txt file. It's located at the root of DCS main folder. ---
Flappie Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Since you've already tried deleting affected files, please contact ED support : log in to DCS website, click Support, then Create a new ticket. @ZoltarSpeaks You should do the same. ---
