Your best option as razo+r suggests is to do a trial for it.  But it has no crashes (honestly, I don't think any of the maps have crash issues).  With 64 GB memory you should be good (memory is usually the key with Syria map).  It is definitely a more demanding map than the others, so if you struggle with other maps you'll definitely struggle with this.  But it's a very nice map and I would definitely recommend it.

32Gb here, and it works flawlessly, to be honest. Together with Channel map probably the best looking map right now (Marianas not behind). It's not any good, it's plenty of good.

For me the Syria map is the best. If you are flying low you will see that the work and effort put in the map is insane, there are so many details, and so many amazing places and different terrain... it's just beautiful! 🙂

PD: I've got 16Gb and no problems and any issues (but I'm flying only helos).... but I know people complain about it.

Agree, Syria map is great for flying with a helicopter. You have nice hills, valleys and the texture fits together (roads, rivers, junctions...) - better than on Caucasus.

I forgot to leave the Windows paging file turned off to suppress the Prepar3Dv5 stuttering, and my PC's memory flooded and was awfully unstable.

On a different topic, if the city near the airfield is omitted, I get confused when I am flying in VFR relying on a static map while asking ATC for a heading.

It's not just the Syria map that has the city area cleared in places. It's unavoidable due to map data capacity.

There are an unexpectedly large number of objects in the quick-start short-range free-flight mission.

hi. i want to buy the syria map. is the map software stable? does it load well? any crashes? i have 64GB ram. need to adjust graphics settings?

Hi.

Man, with 64GB of RAM you should have more than enough!

I only have 16 GB of physlical memory (other 16 are pagefile) and I manage to fly quite good (my PC is in the lowest portion of the spectrum, think abou it). Ihad to do the pagefile stuff to be able to play in Sirya, but i made the trick. You can always add more GB to the pagefile!

Saludos y feliz año nuevo.
