Aigle2 Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 (edited) Hello, I'm having issues again. Either the game crashes about 10 minutes after stating a game, or about an hour after. It justs comes back to the desktop, without any crashreporter opening, just like that, at random. Sometimes it gives me a BSOD. Last BSOD was "IRQL DRIVER_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" Crashes occur ingame (not in menus or ME) Any maps, any module. Here is what I did : - Completely reinstalled Nvidia drivers => no effect - W10 up to date => no effect - DCS and W10 files validation => no effect - Uninstall of every mod i had => not sure about effect, maybe "slower" crashes ? To be confirmed. - Mem check => 0 error - log reading (no crash report) - Power usage profile changes => no effect - Tacview disabling => fps gains - Reshade disabling => no effect, a few fps gain (normal !) - At least 60GB of free space on each disk => no effect - 32GB pagefile (I already have 64 DDR4 GB RAM...) => no effect DCS is the only game I have issues with. Here are some log files I can provide, and a DXDiag I generated manually after last BSOD. I am very frustrated because I'm now unable to play at all the game I bought a PC for. - Maybe PSU issue ? Dates from 2019, Bronze, 650W - Maybe heat issues ? - Maybe faulty 3080 ? Was bought new last year Any help would be welcomed. Aigle2 DxDiag.txt dcs.log.old dcs.log Edited November 5, 2022 by Aigle2
Aigle2 Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 I ran a stress test App called heavy Load, wich crashed 30 minutes in. Here is the windows event recorder with reports from Heavy Load and DCS crashes.evtx
Flappie Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Salut Aigle2. Try this: Stop your PC Dismount your RAM sticks Put them back in Retry Heavy Load Sometimes, it makes blue screens go away. ---
Solution Aigle2 Posted November 6, 2022 Author Solution Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) PSU changed from bronze 650W ro 850W Gold. No more crash for now, will update if it happens again. @Flappie Had already tried that before, it had helped a lot Edited November 6, 2022 by Aigle2
