Hey,

Is there any way to calibrate G2 in such a way that the entire cockpit would not go forward/left/right too with my head movements forward/left/right? It began to really annoy and frustrate me🙄...any suggestions? Thanks

Sounds as though you've lost 6DoF tracking, does the cockpit slide sideways with your head as well?  If so, simply clear and reset the environment data in WMRP 🙂

Yes, the cockpit slides sideways with my head. I reset the data once before. How often does it have to be done? I thought maybe there were some other options.

It shouldn't need to be done often if there are enough shapes/objects for WMR to recognise; if your environment is too plain it can struggle to determine exactly where it is and I think it resorts back to onboard gyro for rotational movement only.  It might also be a lighting issue, they don't need bright lights but some dim light is needed - I have an LED strip around my setup and it tracks perfectly with it set to red.

I had issues with tracking when it would get confused by the LEDs on my keyboard and pc. I try to disable most IR light sources, and just have the room itself decently lit. Just a room lamp is enough.

That said, in my experience tracking is always wonky, jittery, and generally unsatisfactory with, for me at least, no easy remedies.

This time it didn't work...Hm, I'll try to make something up with an LED strip🙄

Do you have the G2 cable or the one that came with your headset?

Because I had the same problem before and since I changed my V1 cable to a V2, everything is back to normal.

Sometimes is due to lighting environment, I mean, If you fly in a dark room you will loose the 3dof, Your room must be with enough light to the cameras to be able to see the environment.
