Mr_sukebe Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 Still ace. I've had it since release and always enjoy flying it. 1 7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat
shaneduce Posted November 5, 2022 Author Posted November 5, 2022 I do enjoy ground attack more than a/a.
exhausted Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 It's not good, it's great. Lots of really good targeting and bombing equipment, if you don't mind being up close. 1
FMBluecher Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 It's really, really fun. Feels totally different from flying most other aircraft (as it should!). The workflow for fighting it in A-G is a bit complicated, but once you get good at it the Harrier is really good at it. 2
Hitman-vCSG3 Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Unique (i.e. not fly-by-wire) flight model. Much faster than A-10. Lots of air-to-ground CAS goodness. STOVL is awesome. Rearm and refuel at road-based FARPs. Cool weapons: APKWS laser-guided rockets, GPS an/or laser-guided GBU-54s, AGM-122 Sidearm anti-radar version of Sidewinder. Definitely try it out. It is challenging and rewarding to fly well. 2
Topo Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Great CAS platform, fun naval operations, unique flight model; now it's my favourite module. I love also the strange "modern(ish) systems stuck on an old platform" sensation. 2
