Dexadrinne Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Not sure where to ask this, but. I remember a while back for every aircraft you had to have 3 profiles one for Stick/Throttle and rudder. So if you wanted to reinstall you had to go through each category and load the profile for each peripheral. Is this still the case 3 profiles for each item? Or has it changed? Regards Mike
GrEaSeLiTeNiN Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Yes you are right. But I use to have a T.Flight HotasX some years back and the stick and throttle was saved and loaded as one lua file. Now I have a Warthog hotas and VKB T-rudders, and the stick, throttle and rudders luas are saved and loaded separately. scommander2 Posted November 10, 2022 Posted November 10, 2022 Under the <user login>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\<plane>\joystick, there are the device profiles for stick, throttle, etc for the key bindings. And, the file name self contains the device id assoicated with the actual USB connected to PC. Hope I am right. It's saved in there whenever the user makes changes to the hotas bindings in the Controls tab and clicks "Ok". But the user can also "save profile as" (from the Controls tab respective profile column) using custom filenames into any folder of choice as a backup to reload them in the event of a reinstall.
