Boshar67 Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Following update 2.8 the A-10 view is zoomed way out like a fisheye view. This occurs in Trackir or regular view with no Trackir. It is only happening with the A-10. F-18 view is normal in Trackir. I don't believe I made any binding changes that would make this happen and don't know how to get it back to normal view. This view makes the A-10 unflyable. Thanks for any help.
razo+r Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 What happens if you press the key that decreases FOV / zooms in?
Boshar67 Posted November 12, 2022 Author Posted November 12, 2022 I don't see a key for FOV/zoom. Zoom in slow and cockpit zoom do nothing.
razo+r Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Do you perhaps have a switch per accident mapped to zoom?
Boshar67 Posted November 12, 2022 Author Posted November 12, 2022 I don't think so. Which zoom specifically are you talking about?
razo+r Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Zoom in slow, Zoom in, normal zoom or whatever it's called and maybe even zoom external to make sure. Just check all of them.
Yurgon Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 All of your user specific configuration is in the directory C:\Users\{Your Windows Username}\Saved Games\DCS or C:\Users\{Your Windows Username}\Saved Games\DCS.OpenBeta I'd try to rename the one that corresponds to your DCS installation and try again. On the next start, DCS will create that directory anew and fill it with the bare minimum files required to run. If that solves the problem, you can rename your original directory back and try to isolate the root cause, or you could go with the fresh one and just copy those files that you need, like missions and tracks. The other thing that is always worth a try is a DCS repair with the options Slow and Search for Extra Files.
