WARTHOG Throttle problems

Hoping to find a solution here, short of taking this thing out into the yard and smashing the crap out of it with a hammer.

Calibrated, all buttons work, all rotaries work and it works good on nearly every aircraft and Helo i own.

Now we come to the F16...... it somehow disables the Boatswitch, china hat and speedbrake.

When I attempt to program it they dont respond and other switches flicker on and off on their settings.

I dont have any conflicts. I have uninstalled the F16 and reinstalled to get a clean Hotas setup but the problem returns.

If I setup the Ant elevation, then try to setup the Speedbrake, the antenna seems to take over the speedbrake buttons

Thoughts, recommendations on the right hammer anything will be welcome

What exatly is happening in the Windows game controller settings when you´re trying to map your F-16 controls? Do you have flickering buttons there as well? If not, it is most likely not an issue with your throttle. Make sure you didn´t select the arcade control settings (think ist called F-16 easy, game or something). Try to delete all control settings for the F-16 (not keyboard of course) and start from scratch. Do this by selecting a category (i.e. Warthog Throttle), then click on "delete category". Be aware not to click on "delete all" as this will delete your mappings for all of your modules.

No flicker in Controller

Mapped in F16 Sim

I went back to Wags vid on programming as he has a Warthog throttle in the vid deleted all and sttarted from scratch.....All loaded perfect went online and in DGF mode the HUD is chattering between MRM and DGF non stop .

Maybe a switch connection I dont know

Sounds weird. I´m getting that right, that it´s always the same switches on your throttle causing that issue, no matter what function your are mapping to them? But if this is only occuring with the F-16, i doubt this to be a bad switch connection or any other issue with your throttle. Especially if everything is ok in the Windows game controller settings. Since you mapped your controls in F-16 Sim... did you check if there are any mappings in the game/easy setup? If so, delete them. This also can cause conflicts. If this all doesen´t help, my limited knowledge is sadly ending here....

create a new user account, start DCS from within there and check if the error carries over to the new user.

If it does, well...I haver no answer to this but if it doesn't it is likely a corrupt setting in your DCS Home Folder which you could delete/fix and have it solved.

OK seems to be the Throttle when I push into Afterburner!!

Thats when everything starts chattering, and also why it doesnt do it in the helos as the throttles are just parked

You can get parts from TM. Could just be a bad wire inside that is easy to fix.
