I am unable to get Oculus Quest 2 running at USB 3.0.

I have tried updating drivers, both manually and using Driver easy.

I have tried turning off antivirus, updating windows, setting the Oculus back to factory settings, different cables 3X (including the official Oculus 2 LINK CABLE), different ports, everything.

It either does not want to work at all (when plugged into USB 3.0) works at high speed (when plugged into USB 2.0),  or has a 10 in a yellow circle, which I assume is 10 MB.

I am absolutely FED UP!!!!! Please help.

As a last ditch effort, and as a result of a recommendation, I ordered a PCI card with USB ports. However I really rather have my PC working correctly than having to use a work around, if it even works.......

This is my Motherboard.

MSI MEG Z390 ACE LGA1151 (Intel 8th and 9th Gen) M.2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 DDR4 Wi-Fi SLI CFX ATX Z390 Gaming Motherboard

EDIT!!!!

Seems this is a common problem.

It's an issue with oculus globally,

My rift and rift sensor still report as USB2,

I went out and bought a USB 3.0 Card (to add my HDDs to as well), and it reported at USB 3.0 for a few months, but when I rebuilt my system it's back to usb 2.0 reporting.

It's a driver issue IIRC w/ the ASMEdia and the Fresno Logic cards.

Everyone recommended the same FL Board when oculus first launched,

Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2),

ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9)

Maybe this site can help:  https://winraid.level1techs.com/

In the past, winraid website offered drivers ( also beta ) from Asmedia and Realtek that you couldn't get easily otherwise, with install instructions and lots of info.

It solved many USB and Sound issues I came across in the past, maybe worth reading through the forum.

your Motherboard looks very advanced,  Isn't there a USB - C port in the group of ports that face the back end of your PC case?  I always plug my Meta/Oculus cable into that and directly into my headset and it works fine.  I cannot get any adapters to work.  Good luck!  DCS in VR is amazing.

I own an Oculus Quest 2 and what got mine working is disabling the motherboard USB 3.0 ports in the BIOS and adding in a PCIe USB 3.X card and running from it. You can see my system specs in my signature.

As for the add in USB card I purchased the following...Inateck PCIe USB 3.2 KU5211-R
