SirPugsolot Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Hiya guys, was playing on a server recently and tried to add only the centreline tank to my f-16 while rearming. And I noticed my fuel gauge didn't move from 7150 on my DED. Am I missing something? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
=617= Evil Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Did you have the centerline tank on the jet already? You have to open the A/A refueling port to depressurize the tanks for refueling. Otherwise, not quite sure what the issue could be. Haven't experienced this myself. Something server side, perhaps? In Thrust We Trust.

If OP had wingtanks before rearming then this might be it (and yes, it's a bug) Or fuel slider not maxed out? SirPugsolot Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 I would take it (centreline tank) off using the rearm menu and put it back on using the same menu. And the fuel amount would be unchanged. I didn't know you had to depressurize it to be able to refuel it. While I did this I made sure the fuel slider was at 100% so I was sure I maxed it out everytime. The wing tanks on the other hand I have no issues with, it seems to only be the centreline for me. Though this could be me as well missing some crucial piece of information out there.
Burner1111 Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 I can confirm this happening. Played MP today with a friend. I used central tank, friend used wing tanks. After landing, we resupplied fuel/ordinance and friend managed to fulfill wing tanks with 100% in menu, no removal actions were needed. I did the same but full fuel load was kept 7000sh. I had to remove central tank and add again with 100%. After then it was over 9000. Seems ED has resolved, fixed or add the function into the wing tanks but central seems not working the way we hoped, unfortunately. Did this twice during our 4h flight. Unfortunately, no track to share as it was in MP. I didn't remove the pylon but I'll be sure to do this in the future to see if it happens again. 1
Solution SirPugsolot Posted December 10, 2022 Author Solution Posted December 10, 2022 Hiya guys, after a quick test, I found that removing the pylon fully (not just the payload i.e. the fuel tank) fixes the issue of it not adding fuel to the system. After removing the tank without the pylon no change would be seen when adding it back however, removing the pylon and then adding the tank made the fuel jump from 7100 to 9000. Thanks burner1111 for mentioning your experience or I wouldn't have thought of this. As well as everyone who went out of their time to comment. 1
