Solved - there was a conflict with a Iris-T mod I had installed previously. I removed it, and now it shows correct textures

I was about to say, it was probably a mod conflict.

it seems your mod make ground and sea unit dissappear? looks like it's conflicting with other mods

Which ground units is it conflicting with?  I have quite a few of them installed and it doesn't mess with them at all.

Are you planning to rework the CFT's and centerline so they can be used to their full ability? Or is that for an A/G version due to game limitations?

I can look into re-working the CFTs to open up the centerline and maybe even add the option for things like the Legion pod on one of the F-15E targeting pod stations.  The catch is that CFT weapons mounting will get more restricted (maximum of one AGM-158 on each side instead of two for example), since I will have to take the pylons from two of the four CFT stations and re-use them for the centerline and pod stations.  I have 11 stations to work with using the F-15C avionics, and the only way I can "add" more is to take the existing ones and reposition them, and make up the difference with custom loadouts.  This won't be easy though, I'll have to investigate if it's even doable.  It took forever to get the outer wing stations right using this method.

There won't be a ground attack version until after the custom cockpit is finished, if there ever is one at all.  In theory it wouldn't be that hard to do, I just am not sure if I'd want to mess with it given the primary focus of the F-15EX is air to air.  I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

This is an extremely basic and early implementation, but I haven't posted an update on the cockpit in a while, so here it is:

I understand the point of this mod is to create playable aircraft, but would an AI version be free of those limitations?

It should be.  The old F-15E has a pylon coded for every single attachment point on the aircraft, something like 28 total.  An AI rework of my F-15EX should be relatively easy to do.

I'm working on a skin pack (i'm aiming for 5 different serial numbers, nothing accurate) for the 159th Fighter Wing, 122nd Fighter Squadron, Louisiana Air National Guard.  I took some liberties with the coloring and markings.  Let me know if you have any suggestions.  I am finally moved in, unpacked and my wife didn't kill me in the process 🙂

Is there any chance you'd look at doing this in the future? Having an AI EX with JASSM, LRASM and functioning AARGM-ER would be fantastic to fly alongside in multiple scenarios.

I absolutely can.  Honestly it shouldn't take that much work, since I should be able to add as many pylons as it needs.  The only issue would be with the CFT pylons, since for those I would need to do exclusions to prevent installation of weapons that clip into each other.  That is also doable, it would just take more time.

That would be great man, honestly the exclusions probably aren't even necessary, it's fairly easy to see if stuff is clipping from the mission editor anyway.

Just wanted to say, this is awesome- this is my first mod to the game, and I am loving it! (I got a good handle on the Hornet and Viper, and then started FC-3, hit the Eagle- and then sought this out and found it!

So far, 20 AMRAAMS is epic -
Thank you for this Spino!

Though the biggest issue is getting the afterburner detente right for my thrustmaster warthog- it's been a massive nightmare due to assymetrical thrust, and tons of days trying to tweak that. I might give up and stop doing thrust left and thrust right and just do  thrust (single) - hadn't realized it'd be so diff from the F15C curve-wise in that regard.    (Yes, i was trying to use JC of DI's spreadsheet tool (but he only accounts for the C and E models) , but ended up hitting curvature and not using user curves, to make it so i dont need my throttles 95% of the way just to light the burners, far past the detente)

Still have yet to try the Peregrines

Aside from the detent , and also having some weird  sharp movement from activating autopilot some of the time  if i don't hit both A and H at the near exact same time - I have been taking on whole groups of enemies with the EX with missiles to spare!

EDIT: I grabbed version 1.7, but just noticed  your links in the first post still link to 1.6, and aren't updated!
