Recent CtD on some MP Servers

Getting CtD with the Mi-24P almost immediately after spawning and MiG-21bis a bit later, maybe 5 minutes after spawn.  Doesn't seem to happen on all MP servers.

203520 is the Hind and 025353 is the MiG-21.

Thank you, that was quick! Look no further:

2022-12-22 20:28:11.980 INFO APP (Main): CPU cores: 8, threads: 8, System RAM: 32710 MB, Pagefile: 0 MB

You have no pagefile, and DCS hates it.

Try this: System  > Advanced system settings > Advanced tab > Performance Settings... > Advanced  tab > Change... > Tick "Automatically manage paging filesize for all drives" > OK

If this does not work, we'll set a manual 32 GB pagefile.

Your responses were lightning fast, thank you!

Had to manually set 16000-32000 on both SSDs (indicates 32MB, now) and clean DCS for some Vaicom scripts showing red IC.  After that, I was able to spawn in a Hind on the MP server and not crash.  I don't have time to get a full flight in, right now, but it made it much longer than the previous issues.

Thank you, very much @Flappie You, should get a raise. CS of the year, for real.

You're welcome. 😀

By the way, one pagefile is usually enough.

Hi @Flappie these crashes may not be related, but i didn't want to clog the forums with new threads without a good reason, so i'll write here first. These crashes are fairly new, only started in December, which coincides with both Changes in the missions that cause them (Through the Inferno Syria and to some extent TTI Caucasus), the new DCS patch, me buying a new GPU and PSU. The interesting thing is i don't get crashes on any other MP servers, nor in SP. My rig is:

CPU: i5 9600KF
RAM: 32GB DDR4
GPU: NVIDEA GF RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM
SSDs both for the system drive and the game drive

I wrote to the guys of TTI on their forum page/post as well.

And here is my latest log file, from last night - this morning, which is the last time i had the crash. Thanks in advance and Marry Christmas!

It's way easier for moderators s to merge threads than for helpers to follow different users with different issues in a unique thread. Please create a new thread and I'll help. 👍
