Double4d Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 I have the trimmer set and the helo knows I've trimmed it because when I have the autopilot director control on the lines show up in the HUD where I trimmed it. but my stick just returns to the normal center and no new center gets set. I've tried this with all three special trim modes and it's not working. I'm using a wining Orion 2 throttle and stick base with f16 stick.

Check: Your settings in special menu for KA-50. There you can alter the way how your trim will work and which hardware will affect. For trim section i use the 1st one (x56 here). Check that you have assign the TRIM on and TRIM reset. Also use RCTRL+ENTER will popup your HOTAS window that will visually present if the trim have been set or not. Thank you. Solution pr1vate Posted December 25, 2022 Solution Posted December 25, 2022 Go to Options, Misc. and ensure that "Force Feedback" is unchecked. It's enabled by default and makes the Helo ignore your trimming on non-FFB sticks. 1 1

GumidekCZ Posted December 28, 2022 Posted December 28, 2022 I found another issue with trim: Either trim mode set in special menu will end with overtrim (almost doubled the commanded cyclic stick offset), IF TRIM BUTTON PRESSED QUICKLY. If held for more than second or two, everything goes without problem.
