RTS354 Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 I’m having an issue with the A-10C II where if I press ESC and select any option other than the View Message History, and then go back into the game I lose Joystick and rudder movement as if the A-10C II went into manual reversion. This is repeatable on my system. Note that the controls page show that the joystick’s pitch and roll, and the rudder’s yaw movements are functioning normally, but when I return to the game, I lose these control functions. I tried the hot plug enable/Disable and scan hardware options, but they do not work. The only work around that I found was to pause the game, and repeatedly unplug and plug in the controller’s USB connector until the movement returns to normal. In the video I state that this bug occurs when in VR, but it also repeatable when not in VR. Note that I do not have this issue with any of the other modules. I attached a link to a video demonstrating this issu: A 10C II Joystick Control Issues
Flappie Posted December 24, 2022 Posted December 24, 2022 (edited) Are you using an external software interacting with your devices? T.A.R.G.E.T, Gremlin, vJoy, anything else? Edited December 24, 2022 by Flappie ---
RTS354 Posted December 25, 2022 Author Posted December 25, 2022 No. I do not use the programs use suggested. I just plug in the joystick, rudder, and throttle and use as is. Even though there is software for my controllers, I don't use them. If this were the case then I would have this issue with all of my modules and not just the A-102C II. The A-10C II is the only module where I lose joystick and rudder functionality when switching to the controls configuration screen.
Flappie Posted December 25, 2022 Posted December 25, 2022 OK. Your issue looks a bit like the one this use is having, only it's the opposite: Please reproduce the problem in a short session, then attach your dcs.log file (from "Saved Games/DCS.../Logs"). ---
Maulet Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 (edited) I am on the latest beta (2.8) and the new BS III. I use car pedals (multiple axises). In the past I could set them up in Axis section. (Slider+Invert 2nd axis etc) No external software. Today I can't. Rudder does crazy things, always are maxed when unpressed and inverting doesn't fix it. SOLVED! (NOT...:( After some Windows 11 build update, the Fanatec propietary driver panel was lost in combat. Installed it and now looking good! (IN CONFIGURATION PANEL) But in -game it's the same again: no press at pedal, rudder goes to max, and to center it I have to press a pedal.... all the time... Strange! Edited December 31, 2022 by Maulet
