Ngl this entire forum thread seems to be more of an opinionated piece intended to rile up people rather than actually sparking any reasonable discussion regarding Tomcat BFM. I’m honestly surprised it’s still here.

see the pros go fly the F14B in the wild of a public dcs world bfm server with it unedited broadcasted realtime and see what happens and what their thoughts are afterwards.

seems like that'd be fairly obvious

I would doubt that, what i wouldn't doubt is that we have different styles of flying... but i've said everything i had to say  already and until you give me a video of you flying or a track i can't give you any new tips... and I'm still thinking that you're simply bleeding to much energy... but you weren't willing to try my suggestion so i can't help you dude, sorry

Absolutely, I'll go tell them that their opinion doesn't matter unless they stream it online. I hate to tell you but I'm fairly certain of their response.

Also, you'll probably have to tell us seeing how it's only obvious to you what the results would be. I can tell them that too then.

How do you know we don't make a bad FM just for him?

make some videos about it and share them on youtube dude. nobodies made a good scholarly F14B 1v1 BFM content in 3-4 years.

I not certain that you don't, but how can you blame me for wondering when there's a unanimous group of people saying F14B is a certain way, and it's not even remotely lining up with the reality of my experience in it for the past 3 years. and again it might not be HB, it could be the server admin, the mission design, some kind of tampering within the server from other parties

I not certain that you don't., but how can you blame me for wondering when there's a unanimous group of people saying F14B is a certain way, and it's not even remotely lining up with the reality of my situation in it.

I'm mostly asking you to actually corroborate any of your claims with any sort of facts whatsover. It's kinda hard to invalidate all the known facts about the flight model and envelope as well as all the SME input otherwise.

Maybe it's my HOTAS, I push throttle to where max AB thrust would be, but some kind of issue with it only gives me max dry thrust and the AB animation still shows up in F2 idk

Also, you know he's gonna claim it's rigged somehow anyway, he's gonna see something he claims is a cut, or a deliberate claim of one thing while doing another... nothing is gonna convince this guy he's wrong, and I think in the end, what he's really asking is, if we could all just fly a little worse, so then he can play too... and that's not unreasonable, is it?

And nobody owes you one either, especially with that attitude of yours, and especially not our SMEs, who have nothing better to do than to ponder to your not at all exaggerated complaints, backed up by actual proof and no hurt feelings at all. sarcasm over.

I hate to break it to you, but after just smacking down everyone’s well meant advice and your unwillingness to start looking at what maybe went wrong on your end, no one will be very motivated to help you any further. You squandered that pretty nicely. 

And I also hate to break it to you, but whether you win or lose in the F14 is really none of our business, as much as we wish you to be successful. 

This thread is leading nowhere like this. I suggest you take a step back, enjoy Christmas a bit and come back when you cooled off and when you are actually willing to talk with us and members of this forum in a normal and courteous manner. If you continue with such an attitude we’ll close the thread.

And like all good discussions, we've finally ended on a note we can agree on. OMG...

If you cannot figure out how to show something is different from what you expected, then how the hell can you be sure that something IS different than expected. Film it with your phone camera and narrate if you have to... what are you, 12?

There's no way you can get that plane off the ground and still literally be too stupid to show where something unexpected happened, or at least be able to describe it so others can duplicate it.
