It's fairly popular in the VR section. I used it for a while, but switched back to doing without after switching to a swivel chair where I can pan ever so slightly which gets me plenty of range of motion. Those who do a lot of dogfighting in MP I can see where popularity is, cause you're definitely cranking your necks alot.

I use it, but then my seat is fixed and my neck is rather stiff with age.  I really do rate it, but as you say, there's other threads on the subject.

i don't use it either, I'm not young but I have little problem checking six, in fact, I went VR to avoid using PoV hats and software such as this but this is information...

I'm not arguing it's not useful or popular, it's just not worth a clickbait title or capital letters in a frankly quite useless video. It does what it's supposed to, and if you need it, you can use it. It's not a performance improvement or anything that would apply to everyone.
