Question about wing vapor on the F-14.

Greetings Pilots and RIOs, I have a question to make.

I was checking Heatblur's Roadmap for some info on the F-14's development and I came across this: It's apparently new vapor VFX that were "shipped with 2.8", but I don't see any difference in the VFX for vapor on the F-14 while flying. What am I missing here? Does shipped mean that it has been sent to ED to add into the module? Does it not necessarily mean that it has been already released?

But it says its for the Tomcat, and that it was shipped with 2.8

Can you tell me where you got that info on the wing sweep being the impeding factor for that vapor?

I seem to recall that Victory205 at some point mentioned that, in addition to their normal function of curing cancer and their ancillary function of moving the Cl forward slightly at supersonic speeds (to avoid over-stability in pitch), the glove vanes also were useful to increase the vapes (eg. during an airshow).  Since we have no glove vanes, it is thus appropriate that we have no vapes.  It's Science(tm).

Based on this video, which shows the glove vanes deployed from inside the cockpit, it looks like the vanes created their own vapes to add to the effect, but I don't think that affects the main wing vapes.
