I checked my key bindings and I don't see any conflicts (VKB Gladiator Pro stick). skywalker22 Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 This is there for a couple of years, not sure if its a feature, but it shouldn't be, since this does long press TMS right (TMS right is swapping between RWS and TMS). There was never any word about TMS Down for changing between these two functions. This has to be some old "bug" or something.
itn Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 This is documented in some of the IRL manuals, likely correct as is for DCS variant. Basically you get from TWS to RWS with 1 to 4 TMS downs, depending on the state of TWS tracks and if you have a STT lock or bugged target or not. In any case, press TMS down enough times and you'll end up from TWS to RWS, with each TMS down doing different thing depending on the track/lock/bug status at the moment.

It actually doesn't do different things, but it goes back to STT to Search Target (STT -> Bugged -> System -> Track -> Search -> and apparently even to RWS).

That's the "different things" I referred to, but basically the same thing: Going further back in the TWS "promotion/demotion ladder", after which switches to RWS. Couldn't remember the correct names of different radar target types, so I left it at the hazy "different things".
