EightyDuce Posted January 30, 2023 Posted January 30, 2023 (edited) ... 4090ti is coming. Guru3d link similar info Clickbait-ish title (kinda), but some alleged specs leaked for a 4090Ti. Big takeaways, 96mb L2 and 24Gbps GDDR6X (significant bandwith increase). Which begs the question, why only 21Gbps GDDR6X on the 4090, other than sell you Ti later. So likely 10-15% over 4090. Curious to see the price. LucShep Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 (edited) hmmmm.... I guess the 4090Ti 24GB at $2.900, and the rumoured RTX 4090 Titan 48GB at $5.000 price tags are next? I'm happy and will be holding what I have for a long time, but wonder sometimes what'll be the price and power consumption of the following RTX5000 series flagship launch? I guess a $6.000 price and 1800W PSU requirement for the RTX5090 would not be too unrealistic, given the sorry state of the GPU market? Hey, give me a $5,000 GPU the size of a minifridge that plugs into the wall and needs its own dedicated circuit and I'll buy it, as long as it'll give me over 60fps in DCS VR. I have no confidence it would, but I can dream. 1 Де вороги, знайдуться козаки їх перемогти. 5800x3d * 3090 * 64gb * Reverb G2

Don't know if I'm being optimistic, but I want to think FE would be $2K with AIB being $2200-2400. Titant variant if it sees the light of day, probably a $3k-3500, with a $4K Strix card lol. As for RTX5XXX, should be TSMC 3nm node, so we may see some good performance; power still probably not pushing past 600W. That being said, 4090 will last me until the 6 or 7 series comes haha. 1 Windows 11 23H2| ASUS X670E-F STRIX | AMD 9800X3D@ 5.6Ghz | G.Skill 64Gb DDR5 6200 28-36-36-38 | RTX 4090 undervolted | MSI MPG A1000G PSU | VKB MCG Ultimate + VKB T-Rudders + WH Throttle | HP Reverb G2 Quest 3 + VD

Although they come a bit cheaper, that's valid for AMD GPUs as well, in fact it's the all darn system devices which prices will go through the roof, R&D cost is sky high now, they are engaged in a technology race, so someone has to pay for it. The only way to stop this is to massively do as what you and I plan; stick to a proven, stable technology generation for years until they reduce the cost of their gear and stop taking our gaming budgets for unlimited Santa's sack...
