Wizard1393 Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Any chance the A-10C II has a problem with the cockpit / cockpit textures? I get much worse performance in the A-10 pit than in the Hornet or the F-14 even. I'm seeing roughly 20% less FPS in the A-10C II pit than in the others mentioned. Anyone know if a cockpit mod exists that might help FPS in the A-10C II? bigcomputerman Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Nothing is wrong with the A-10C II Cockpit. You probably loaded a bunch of modules/maps already which is lagging the game, or there's a problem in your hardware because I'm getting 60 fps in the air, and on a good day 85. By the way you have 16gb more ram, my RTX is 2060, and I'm using Intel Core i7-9750 CPU.
Wizard1393 Posted February 4, 2023 Author Posted February 4, 2023 (edited) I'm just saying in general, that when I start DCS and hop into the A-10C cockpit, I get notably less performance than if I hop into an F/A-18C cockpit. Perhaps the A-10C II cockpit could see some optimization to be more on par with the F/A-18C cockpit performance wise. Falconeer Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 The A10C and C II are butter smooth for me. I would even go as far to say these are one of the best running models for me, FPS wise. Make sure you have no mods installed and try to run a repair otherwise 2 Planes: Choppers: Maps: Flaming Cliffs 3 Black Shark 2 Syria A-10C Tank killer 2 Black Shark 3 Persian Gulf F/A18C Hornet AH-64 Apache Mariana's F-16C Viper Afghanistan F-15E Strike Eagle Kola Peninsula Mirage 2000C AJS-37 Viggen JF-17 Thunder F-14 Tomcat F-4E Phantom
