  2. I'm well aware that there are EDM files for tracers and different projectiles, however every round that is non tracer doesn't seem to have an EDM file sticked to it. Is there somewhere I should look for it? So far I've looked into Bazar > World > Shapes folder to find some tracer edm files.
  3. It'd be an incredibly amazing feature that'd add immersion to things like the AH-64D and such. I would like to know if there's any plans on adding it to DCS World; and if so, do you know when it may come? And let me know your thoughts on this! Do you think it might lag the game? Will it make using Cannons on AH-64D more enjoyable?
  4. You can still see dust being kicked as if the vehicle is still moving around while it's still dead frozen in place. MK-82 was used in an A-10CII. Caucasas Vehicles in particular: Ural-375 IFV BMP=2 If more info is needed then let me know. bug.trk
  5. Ah I see. So during that sortie in the real picture, the A-10 flight happened to go outside of the loaded map?
  6. I just noticed that NODTS/B1 comes when you turn off the CICU switch. But both MFDS turn off when this happens. Maybe that A-10 in the first screenshot had his CICU system damaged? 2023-08-11 01-45-10.mp4
  7. When disabling DTSAS, I believe the DTSAS indicator on the hud is supposed to say NODTS/B1 as it has been shown in Afghanistan A-10C footage. Here's an example of what it looks like in the video: And here's what it looks like in DCS: And in another A-10C video in afghanistan shows the aircraft using DTS: I'm not sure if I'm wrong and it's supposed to do that. But it'd be nice if anyone could elaborate on this.
  8. A lot of videos of combat FLIR footage shows a bunch of little white spots shoot out every direction like a firework. I believe these are shrapnel from the rounds impacting. It'd be a really awesome and nice feature to add especially since it just looks weird when you see infantry drop to the ground from a HE round hitting next to it with no visual effects.   10. I've recently reset my laptop. Drivers are all working fine, and I was able to install other programs. However, once I attempted to install DCS World Open Beta; I got a Timeout Reached warning.   11. Maybe, but I believe making the rounds non transparent will still make it look a lot better. Especially in the Apache as you've mentioned.
  12. Yeah you're sorta right there, I think it's just because the back of the round is extremely hot. You can see it in the apache as well but it's more clear due to better FLIR + less velocity.
  13. With Multi-Threading thriving in the DCS World community, I think it's time to atleast allow the rounds to be non-transparent. Because there are multiple TGP FLIR videos on youtube where you can clearly see the rounds impacting a target. Here is some FLIR videos from the SNIPER + LITENING targetting pod: 3:06: firing TP rounds at a container. Most likely combat footage from Afghanistan, seems to be using PGU-13/B High Explosive Incendiary shells from the effects in the video.

  16. I get it, it's not easy to make AI track targets in a realistic way... But I'm personally getting tired of playing that fun little game of "How long will it take until a terrorist on a truck that's 2 miles away manages to hit your engine with 100 rounds perfectly?". If there are any plans on improving the realism of aim, then please let me know!

  19. Few days ago, I was able to access over thousands of servers. However, once I lost connection due to an auto-restart of my router, I couldn't access more than 60 servers. I've done a full repair including extra files, however no hope of fixing. If I need to provide some sort of track or such, please reply. --EDIT | After the last update, it fixed itself. However to prevent anything like this happening in the future, please give me instructions on how to fix it whenever it may appear!

An interview with an A-10 Pilot, they said Combat Mix is to 4:1 because they use depleted uranium to punch holes in the tank and the high "explosive" incendiary effects can destroy everything inside of it. In reality if it only had a full load of API, it wouldn't really do an excellent job at killing the guys inside now would it?
  21. Nothing is wrong with the A-10C II Cockpit. You probably loaded a bunch of modules/maps already which is lagging the game, or there's a problem in your hardware because I'm getting 60 fps in the air, and on a good day 85. By the way you have 16gb more ram, my RTX is 2060, and I'm using Intel Core i7-9750 CPU.
  22. In real life you'd hear the sound of the barrels clearing.. It'd be a very nice add for immersion and after all it was reported internally.
