Mashregh Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 Hi. I use Oculus Rift S with my DCS. After installing Openxr Toolkit, I only saw the Press Ctrl F2 image once, then never saw this image again and after many tries, I didn't see any Openxr Toolkit menu. Can someone tell what I did wrong or what should I do to use the toolkit? I have downloaded DCS open beta and also normal DCS program and tried but no success. Thanks for your help.
VirusAM Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 You need to launch DCS in openxr mode.. Be sure you have setup the oculus software as default runtime for openxr, then launch dcs world with this setting in the shortcut: null --force_VR --force_OpenXR 1 R7-5800X3D 64GB RTX-4090 LG-38GN950 N/A Realsimulator FFSB MKII Ultra+F-16 grip+F/A-18 grip, VKB Stecs Max, VKB T-Rudder MKV, Razer Tartarus V2 Secrets Lab Tytan, Monstertech ChairMounts
Mashregh Posted February 12, 2023 Author Posted February 12, 2023 Hi. Thank you for your reply. I did what you wrote, but unfortunately no success. I send you my setting screenshots. Regards.
mbucchia Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 Your capitalization of --force_OpenXR is incorrect. Capitalization matters 1 I wasn't banned, but this account is mostly inactive and not monitored.
Mashregh Posted February 12, 2023 Author Posted February 12, 2023 Thank you Sir for your advice. I corrected the letters as you wrote, but still no success.
mbucchia Posted February 12, 2023 Posted February 12, 2023 It doesn't look like you are using the OpenBeta? 1 I wasn't banned, but this account is mostly inactive and not monitored.
Mashregh Posted February 13, 2023 Author Posted February 13, 2023 No. After reinstalling due to OpenXR Toolkit, I use the normal DCS World. Do I have to use the open beta?

Currently yes, native openxr support hasn't been rolled out to stable branch yet. Viceman Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Sorry to reply to old topic, but this came up first when searched. I tried that OpenXR toolkit with my Rift S, but for some reason I cannot get my DCS (or any other game) to show up in the list in toolkit. There was some download link for replacement .dll:s but the link didn't work. What do I need to do?

You don't need to use the per game install of open composite. That was only really needed for pre-MT versions.
