I know vaicom has this and open kneeboard also.Vaicom breaks IC and open kneeboard is hit or miss for me locks up DCS in MP with VR. When it did work it was nice for Bullseye calls and case 3 info.

For a workaround, until we eventually get this, press "Escape" and show the message log. Use Taz1004 non-pause mod to keep flying.
I use VoiceAttack to bring it up.

Thanks this sounds like a good option.  I also found your post on how to set it up with viacom.  Got it mapped to open it up and close.

Forgive my ignorance and for going slightly off topic; I haven't yet come to reinstall VAICOM since it went to open source, but do I understand correctly that VAICOM now causes IC issues?

(is that caused by VAICOM now being open source? Because I never had any IC issues with VAICOM before)

No. Servers have a new option for IC checks that are much stricter (looks for edited scripts in the aircraft folder) .So Vaicom will fail the check if server has that enabled, along with other script changes made by tools like like DiCE, device exports, etc

The best option would be if ED could whitelist some 3rd party stuff.
