Nightcargo Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 I have the axis' programmed in the BS Controls Options but can not get my Foxy programmed buttons to work. I have also searched and saw where others have had problems with TrackIR. It works outside of the Sim, but in the sim nothing. The Absolute views are in the Axis/TrackIR columnin the BS Options area. What am I missing? Thanks Asus Rampage II i7 920 @ 3.8 EVGA580GTX 6G Corsair WinVista64 Hog
Maverick-GER- Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Did you load your foxy profile into your cougar ? Did you tell your .tmj file what .tmm file to use? (Little hint to get RCTRL LCTRL and such to work properly, update your foxy and joystick drivers) Now to track IR, Do you have the latest version of Track IR? if not please update! And dont forget to restart the application after update [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] F-14 Tomcat Rest in Peace (and hopefully get reborn in DCS!) Nightcargo Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Thanks for the reply. Yes I downloaded the TMM and TMJ to the stick, and tested in the Foxy Key Tester. All worked there. Nothing in the game. I tried to mess with the BS options on the buttons but all that shows is ALT when a button is pushed????? New TrackIR (4.1.36 I think) downloaded today. I wonder if there is something in BS options that is wrong? Can't find anything in the manual though. Asus Rampage II i7 920 @ 3.8 EVGA580GTX 6G Corsair WinVista64 Hog
Nightcargo Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 Got it figured out. I read somewhere that the stick commands should be read LCtrl-U as opposed to how it is on the HOTAS Sheet (U-LCtrl). It was either that or the fact that I rewrote my Macro statements as "statement text" versus "key text". The TrackIR thing I don't know. I checked then rechecked the TrueView box several times. The blue light on the TrackIR flickers blue during loading then goes out, then comes on steady. It wasn't on before. How do you recenter TrackIR in this thing since every button is used in the game?? NaturalPoint_Vince Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 by default the F12 is the hotkey to center, but you can reassign it, within the TrackIR software, to keys not being used. Support@NaturalPoint.com TrackIR - Put your head in the game http://www.naturalpoint.com/trackir/index.html
Fish Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 (edited) by default the F12 is the hotkey to center, I user the KB+ and KB- keys to center and pause TIR from BS, since these keys are used for the collective, which you cougar throttle handle should be doing. These are then assigned to appropriate keys on the cougar, where i can get at them quickly, especially the 'center' one.. You can get the cougar and TIR files at the begining of this post. spybaz Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 I assign the 'pause' and 'center' for TIR to 2 of my X52 buttons. They get used frequently. No probs with V4.1.36 here. I am using that version currently. Are you sure your TIR software is running?
